Update from the Ed Bausell family - missionaries to the Sioux Indians

Dear Pastor and Co-Laborers,

May this find you abounding in His Grace, rejoicing in His Will, and attempting great things to His Glory. You are loved and appreciated.

God continues to bless with souls saved, baptized, and growing in His Word. The jail ministry has been extremely fruitful, with souls being saved each week. Three professed Christ at the Lakota Baptist Church in St. Francis Sunday evening. Two were baptized at Tiospaye Baptist Church in Mission last week. Glory!

The Lord has allowed us to meet with others involved in Indian ministry to pray and plan for a world Gospel gathering of Indigenous People. It is exciting to see Native and First Americans making an effort to reach the world with the Gospel.

Our hearts have been torn again. Damien, a man of thirty-four, who had yielded to preach, was growing in the Word, and in church with his wife and six kids, was tragically killed in a car wreck Friday. He is in Heaven, but we sorrow for his pregnant widow and six children, and the ministry they could have had. But God is on the throne and rules the affairs of men. To compound the problem, the widow is without transportation. If you have a third or fourth car that is road worthy and not being used, would you consider giving it?

It is also time for the Indian Children's Christmas Toy Drive. The Lord has blessed this effort with the ability to prepare over three hundred toy and clothing sacks. We trust and ask you to pray for His supply again this year. The world and those too closely attached to this world are wringing their hands, but God is on the throne and still rules in the affairs of men!

May God continue to bless and prosper you and yours. "For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love..." Hebrews 6:10. We love and appreciate you!

Yours in Jesus' Harvest - Ed L. and Ruby Bausell
